CENTRES

What makes Outward Bound unique can be summarised by the 3 Ps;

We run courses all over Oman, from the monsoon kissed mountains of Dhofar to Musandam, and from Masirah Island to the magical Empty Quarter. In the winter months we focus on the desert, using our purpose built training centre in the Sharqiya Sands, whilst in the hot summer months we retreat to the cool heights of Jebel Akdhar, where our third national training centre is currently under construction at an altitude of 7,000ft. All year round we run taster and short courses at our urban training centre and headquarters located at Al Khoud 6, in Muscat.

Our National Training Centres

By the end of 2021, Outward Bound Oman will have three National Training Centres operating in Oman. The first centre in the Sharqiya Sands was formally opened by HM Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said in March 2018, and the second opened in Muscat in March 2020. A third centre, which will be based at 7000ft altitude on Jebel Akdhar, is due to open in late 2021.
