Our immersive, outcome driven programmes are tailored to the specific needs of the participants to help them become more confident, effective and capable, be it in school or college, or in their workplace setting.
Our courses are designed to inspire and motivate people, and take place in the natural environment, or at one of our three purpose-built national training centres, located in Muscat, Sharqiyah Desert and Jabal Akhdar.
From running courses for the emerging talent of leading organisations, to courses on employability and work ethics for job seekers, to courses for people experiencing mental wellbeing or drug related issues we deliver unique and innovative learning experiences for a diverse range of organisations and individuals from every region of Oman, and beyond.
SCHOOLS COURSES
From 7 years old up to 16, our school’s students’ courses help instill environmental awareness and key life skills at root levels.
We work closely with the Ministry of Education to deliver courses for young people in government schools and have been working with a wide range of national and international schools inside and outside Oman to deliver team building, leadership, CAS and Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award adventurous journeys, as well as programmes to experience Omani culture.
HIGHER EDUCATION COURSES
Focusing on employability, leadership, entrepreneurship, resilience and global issues like climate change, we help young people in higher education and job seekers to demonstrate and develop their potential and give future leaders the tools and the mindset to succeed in a rapidly changing world.
CORPORATE COURSES
Unlike traditional training programmes, Outward Bound Oman emphasizes a facilitative approach rather than a purely instructional one with our Experiential Learning Model.
Our methodology is designed to create immersive educational experiences that engage participants fully, shifting the focus from merely delivering information to fostering active involvement and interaction.
We work with to a growing number of both private and government sector organisations in Oman to deliver a range of outcomes suited to employees at all stages of their careers. From courses that work with new employees that have a focus on work ethics and behaviour, to developing the capacity of emerging talent, to providing unique time away from mobile phones and distractions for leadership teams that need an unbroken, focused opportunity for clear, strategic thinking.
EXPEDITIONS AND BESPOKE COURSES
Whether you are a charity or an individual planning an event or an expedition in Oman, a private group or an individual with a dream, we have the resources and flexibility to work with you to design and deliver the experience that suit your needs.
We have designed courses to act as a catalyst and thinktank for groups of young entrepreneurs, for special needs schools who work with young people with specific behavioural needs and have provided operational support to different expedition groups on exploration journeys and environmental research projects in one of the biggest deserts in the world, The Empty Quarter.
OPEN COURSES
With the support of numerous organisations and individuals, we have helped challenge and shape the lives the national talent of Oman.
Our courses support the national objectives of Oman, equipping young people – the future workers and leaders of Oman – with the agility, ethics and skills demanded by a rapidly changing workplace to help make Oman Vision 2040 a reality.
Whilst many of our courses are for groups and institutions, we also run open enrolment courses for individuals, for example, for job seekers looking to improve their employability and to develop their self-confidence, and for young people experiencing challenges with anxiety and depression.
