We run courses all over Oman, from the monsoon kissed mountains of Dhofar to Musandam, and from Masirah Island to the magical Empty Quarter. In the winter months we focus on the desert, using our purpose built training centre in the Sharqiya Sands, whilst in the hot summer months we retreat to the cool heights of Jebel Akdhar, where our third national training centre is located. All year round we run taster and short courses at our urban training centre and headquarters located at Al Khoud 6, in Muscat.
With their unique location in the natural landscapes of the desert and the mountain, the centres provides a perfect training facilities and residential environment for a various number of programmes and activities, including groups retreat, workshops, academic research or adventure trips.
MUSCAT CENTRE
Constructed with the support of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said on land generously donated by the Ministery of Social Development, our urban training centre opened in March 2020.
In addition to acting as an administrative headquarters for Outward Bound Oman, our Muscat Training Centre has been carefully designed to be a flexible, versatile and thought provoking training facility for groups, and as a unique and accessible venue for off-site meetings and staff training courses.
